Super Saturday coding kids
We have been delivering coding workshops as part of Super Saturday events every term since early 2016. Here are some of the student projects from Super Saturday coding kids:
“King Cat” by Aiden
Game description: You control a cat inside a castle. There is a bat which flies above. You have to kill the bat. Once you kill the bat you can move the cat safely within the castle.
Aiden, how would you improve the game?: Enable the bat to take away bars of health. Add a win and lose backdrop.
“Do you know Max?” by Max
Game description: This is a quiz about everything that Max likes. If you click the right answer, you win. If you click the wrong answer, you lose. For each question there is a hint is hidden on the screen.
Max, how would you improve the game?: Add more questions. Add different levels of questions.
“Rugby Quiz” by Tadhg
Game description: This is a quiz about rugby. If you click the right answer, you win and if you click the wrong answer, you lose. There are three possible answers to choose for each question.
Tadhg, how would you improve the game?: Add more questions. Add a win and lose backdrop.
