Book us for a half-day or full-day teacher professional development workshop. Feel confident in building your own tech projects and delivering class activities. No prior experience required! We offer many topics, including integrating Digital Technologies into any subject.

Scratch

Learn to code using drag and drop coding blocks. Scratch is a great way for students in years 3-6 to explore the fundamentals of coding and build their own digital solutions including computer games, animations, interactive stories, music, and art. Integrate with any subject e.g. English, HASS.

Provide your own Makey Makey invention kit and we can learn to use that with Scratch to create your own hardware as part of a digital solution. Use all types of items, e.g. fruit, cups of water, alfoil, to form a part of the hardware. You can build STEM solutions, musical instruments, quiz games, or interactive posters.

Python

Python is a high-level, general-purpose computer programming language. It has been used in many popular applications: YouTube, Google, Instagram, and Spotify. Learning to code with Python is a great place to start for any beginner. Learn the fundamentals of algorithmic thinking and build a quiz game and text adventure game. Projects built with Python suit students in years 6-10.

Delivery

We can visit your school or deliver live online webinars for your staff. We can work together to design a class project e.g. a household solution for weather emergencies (cyclone or flood).
