All of our classes are online, and you can do this from home.

We run...

  • Online private tutoring for primary and secondary students.

  • Generally 1 to 1, occasionally 1 tutor to 2 students (siblings).

We teach...

  • Learn to code with coding blocks ie Scratch.mit.edu (7-9 year olds)

  • Learn to code with textual languages: Python, HTML, CSS, JS (10+ year olds)

  • Tutoring for subjects: English, maths, science etc.

  • You can let us know which subjects or programming languages you are confident in tutoring. We provide lesson plans for Scratch, Python, HTML, and CSS, maths etc.

Who are we?

Coding Kids gives children online private tutoring to learn to code and build fun projects.

Tutor responsibilities

  • Provide an engaging learning environment

  • Keep children safe

  • Deliver exceptional customer service

  • Facilitate learning and exploration by asking the student questions that will guide them and help them discover the solution themselves rather than giving prescriptive directions

  • Build projects and guide students in using Scratch.mit.edu or Python or HTML & CSS.

  • Suits university students. This is not full time employment.

Essential requirements

  • Applicants must have excellent command of spoken English.

  • Be located in Australia with working rights.

  • Generally have availability 4-6pm AEST a few days a week and or weekend mornings.

  • Confident with scratch.mit.edu, Python, or HTML & CSS.

  • Work from home using your own laptop and internet connection.

  • Blue card (Application form here. Employer signature required on form)

  • Not suitable for those seeking full-time employment.
