Nina Lema

Nina Lema

Nina is currently studying a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering in the University of Queensland. Of all the courses she has been doing, she loves the courses that involve computer programming the most. She is passionate about learning and teaching coding. She believes that children should start learning how to code from a young age. That is, when they learn how to code, they can learn critical thinking and problem-solving skills which can help them throughout their lives. In her spare time, she loves learning new languages, watching a good movie or watching a good documentary.

Kieren Moss

Kieren Moss

Kieren has completed a Bachelor degree in IT majoring in Computer Science. He thinks that it is important to find a place for coding in our education system as it's a skill that can be applied to all fields and is a great way to help build problem-solving skills. He found an interest in computers when the kids from his street would try to gather all the parts they needed to be able to play computer games together. Interested in podcasts/TED talks, media, dogs and life changing tech.

Thomas Schofield

Thomas Schofield

Thomas is a 4th year electrical engineering student at the University of Queensland Australia. He has experience with both lower level "embedded systems" programming and higher level application layer programming. He believes that writing computer software is both a fundamental and empowering skill that can be picked up by anyone regardless of their previous experience with computer science. Because of this he enjoys showing others what he can and working collaboratively to improve both his own and other's skills. Outside of his study he is involved in developing his own software and playing guitar.
