What to expect from the Holiday Hackafun program
Learn about our Holiday Hackafun program. These are full-day school holiday programs. The program runs from 9am to 4.30pm, with supervision from 7am to 6pm. This is how we break up our day.
Feel free to arrive from 7am. We will have various activities available including robots and Scratch projects.

Let’s get started! Icebreaker games to get to know each other.
Morning class options include unplugged computational thinking activities and engineering projects.
Computational thinking activities:
- Binary numbers
- Command games e.g. Naughts and crosses
- Sorting numbers
- Boolean guessing game
Engineering projects:
- Marshmallow tower challenge
- Paddlepop stick bridge challenge
Fresh-air time and a snack!
Let get coding! Select one of the class options:
- visual programming with Scratch: build computer games, animations or digital artwork
- programming with Python: build computer games, animations or explore maths and geometry
- app development: building our own iOS or Android apps using drag and drop coding blocks
- 3D modelling and printing: create 3D designs and then get them 3D printed
- programming Ozobot robots: program robots to solve challenges
- programming Micro:bits: program tiny computers with built-in LEDs and button to create your own games and artwork
Adventure time! Kids will fill their hungry tummies and let off some energy with outdoor activities.

Time for some fresh air and a snack!
Extend and Grow! Kids will have the option to work on an existing project or create a new project from various subjects.

Pick up from 4.30pm. Children are supervised until parents/guardians arrive.
