We build new projects and learn new concepts everyday. There are 2 tutors to 15 students.
8.00 - 9.00 am* - Drop off from 8.00 am. Children are supervised until 5 pm.
9.00 am - Let's get started! Icebreaker and unplugged computational thinking activities.
11.00 am - Fresh-air time and a snack!
11.30 am - Let's get coding! Select either a drag and drop coding class or a textual programming language class. Build your own computer game, design characters and explore storyline through code.
1.00 pm - Adventure time! Kids will fill their hungry tummies and let off some energy with outdoor activities.
2.00 pm - Let's explore! Choose from our various afternoon activity options: 3D printing, robotics, electronics, animations, engineering challenges, and more.
3.30 pm - Time for some fresh air and a snack!
4.00 pm - Extend and Grow! Kids will have the option to work on an existing project or create a new project from various subjects.
4.30 - 5.00 pm* - Pick up from 4.30 pm. Children are supervised until parents/guardians arrive.
There will be no programs available at Bulimba State School during the April school holidays due to construction at the school. We will return for July school holidays. Check out our other locations, or contact us here!

What do children need to bring?
- Year 2-6 students are required to obtain a Scratch username and password.
- Year 5-9 students are required to obtain a Trinket username and password. (If you bring your own laptop, please refer to "Can I bring my own laptop?" below.) Year 5-9 students are required to obtain a Codepen username and password (If you bring your own laptop, please refer to "Can I bring my own laptop?" below.)
- Morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea, and a water bottle
- Hat and sunscreen
Can I bring my own laptop?
Absolutely! If you prefer, bring your own laptop. Please download onto your own laptop the following programs for Year 5-9 students:
- Python: Please download the latest version of Python 3 (Python 3.X.X) from the official Python website.
- Web Dev: Please ensure your computer has a text editor. We recommend the following programs:
- For Windows: Notepad ++
- For Macs: Atom
Are Auslan Coding Mentors available?
Yes they are! Auslan / Signed English Coding Mentors are available upon request.
